This white protocol droid, branded with command insignia, was one of several droids stationed at Echo Base's command center. The droid was smashed apart during the Imperial invasion of Hoth. The white protocol droid K-3PO was a fixture in the Echo Base command center during the events surrounding the Battle of Hoth. The stuffy protocol droid served as a coordinator for all the droids stationed at Echo Base. K-3PO (Kay-Threepio) was the property of Commander Narra, a veteran Alliance starfighter pilot who flew in the legendary Renegade Flight. Narra used K-3PO to record his memoirs and keep track of the numerous military engagements he was involved in over the years. After a while, K-3PO absorbed these stories and became a tactical expert. While stationed at Echo Base, K-3PO received some structural damage when he was swatted by a recalcitrant tauntaun's tail. This damage was never repaired and was present on the droid when he was destroyed during the Imperial invasion.
