Filling out the horn section of the Max Rebo Band is the Rodian musician Doda Bodonawieedo. Doda, along with Barquin D'an and Droopy McCool, was a skilled wind instrument player.

Expanded Universe -

The harsh rule of Navik the Red and his strict anti-emigration policies meant that few Rodians ever left their homeworld. Those who did were often successful entertainers with the clout to escape, or fugitives risking it all. Doda Bodonawieedo's family consisted of the latter. Doda was born on a transport shuttle and raised in the port city of Mos Eisley on Tatooine. He grew up with a disdain of traditional Rodian culture, yet with an affinity for classical Rodian music. When Doda was 10 years old, Rodian bounty hunters finally tracked down his fugitive parents and killed them.

Doda, whose name never appeared on any official records since he was born offplanet, was spared. This promising young lad then plunged into a life of petty crime and was one of the founding members of the Shawpee street gang. His underworld connections soon brought Doda into Jabba the Hutt's organization, where he befriended a number of Gamorrean guards and joined in on his slitherhorn during the Max Rebo Band's sets. Doda never went with the execution party into the Dune Sea and was spared a fiery death. When he learned of Jabba's demise, he stole a number of priceless sculptures and disappeared to parts unknown.
