Gaff was the aide-de-camp of Governor Koong during the early days of the Empire. Gaff was a Kobok, a yellow-green skinned insectoid with sharp stingers on his forearms and three orange compound eyes. The third eye was located in back of his head. The stingers on Gaff's arms secreted a potent poison that would knock humanoids unconscious. Strangely, even the Kobok himself was susceptible to the poison's effects. Gaff possessed powerful strength in his slim form, and could leap amazing distances. Gaff was involved in numerous schemes orchestrated by Governor Koong to curry favor with Imperial Admiral Screed. Such schemes were often challenged by trader Mungo Baobab and his droids R2-D2 and C-3PO.
