Kleb Zellock was the leader of the criminal underworld on Tyne's Horky during the early days of the Empire. He had his hands in bounty hunting, smuggling, claim-jumping and gun-running. He operated his business out of Doodnik's Café, a small eatery in the principal mining town. He ran an illegal nergon 14 mine in the craggy wastes of the backwater world.
Sollag of Tammuz-an hired Kleb to find the missing prince, Mon Julpa. Sollag was prepared to pay 40,000 keschels for the safe return of Julpa. Kleb double-crossed Sollag by capturing Julpa, and forcing Sollag to pay even more. Kleb imprisoned Julpa alongside his friends, Jann Tosh, C-3PO and R2-D2 in his nergon 14 mine. The prisoners escaped, detonating the nergon 14 in the process. The entire mine was destroyed, wiping away Zellock's fortune. Jann Tosh turned Zellock in at the nearest law enforcement facility.

Kleb Zellock was a rotund humanoid who wore a spotless suit. He wore thick goggles to protect his eyes from dust. Kleb breathed air from the tubes of an atmospheric purifier he wore over his shoulder. This caused his deep voice to come in hoarse rasps. He had the strange ability to produce a hypersonic shriek capable of stunning humanoids. Kleb hated germs and dirt, and loved money.
