Jessa is the daughter of Doc, the leader of an outlaw tech band operating in and around Corporate Sector space. Jessa acted as second-in-command, and assumed command when her father disappeared. Suspecting that her father was kidnapped by the Corporate Sector Authority, Jessa hired Han Solo and Chewbacca to aide the scholar Rekkon in tracking down political prisoners in the Corporate Sector.
Solo did better than that; not only did he track down the Authority's secret Star's End prison facility, but he destroyed it and rescued Doc. Jessa and the outlaw tech band next relocated to the planet Urdur. Jessa is a tall, shapely woman, with curly blond ringlets of hair, and freckles. She is a capable pilot, and a shrewd leader. Her friends and close associates call her Jess.
